NYPA’s single largest training event is the annual spring convention. Regional seminars are also offered throughout the year at a variety of locations throughout New York State.

NYPA also offers web-based training for advertising personnel, at an affordable price, whenever you need it. NYPA’s on-demand, Web-based training program for advertising sales people provides a simple, cost-effective way to train newly-hired salespeople, or to provide a motivating refresher for existing staff. New Hires Online Advertising Sales Training

NYPA’s comprehensive 13 module on-line training program, available whenever you need it, is designed to allow advertising salespeople to progress through the training modules as their own personal and professional schedules permit.

Each training module ends with a chapter review test, which is graded by an independent testing company. Test results are communicated to ad managers, as is information detailing the amount of time the salesperson took with each module, and which questions were answered incorrectly. Test results enable ad managers to track the progress of salespeople who are moving through the training modules, and to address specific competency areas where a salesperson needs more training.
